Patriotic Biscuits
Patriotic Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sifted flour, 2 tsp. sugar, 3 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/2 c. oleo, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together.
Cut in butter with a pastry blender.
Add egg and milk.
Blend thoroughly.
Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface until smooth.
Roll to 1/2-inch thickness and cut with biscuit cutter. Place on a greased baking sheet and brush with melted butter. Bake at 450Β° for about 7 minutes.
