Pat's Poppy Cock
Pat'S Poppy Cock is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 qt. popped corn, 1/2 c. pecans or peanuts, 1 c. brown sugar, 1 stick margarine and 1/4 c. karo syrup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Spread popped corn on large cookie sheet and add pecans and/or peanuts.
Mix brown sugar, margarine, Karo syrup and salt and bring to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat; add soda, butter flavoring and vanilla.
Dribble over popcorn and stir well.
Place in 200Β° oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
Remove and let cool.
