Pat M.'S Fettucine Alfredo is an easy dinner. Made with 6 tbsp. butter or margarine, 1 1/2 c. whipping cream, salt and pepper and 1 c. (4 oz.) grated parmesan cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Melt butter on high until lightly browned.
Add 1/2 cup of cream and boil rapidly until slightly thickened.
Reduce heat to medium.
Add cooked, drained pasta and mix gently.
Add 1/2 cup cheese and 1/2 cup cream.
Mix gently.
Repeat with remaining cheese and cream.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
(Option: Top with nutmeg.)
