Party Rolls from Jean
Party Rolls From Jean is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. yeast, 2 tbsp. sugar, 1 c. plus 2 tbsp. warm water, 1/2 c. sugar and 1/3 c. melted oleo, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Mix yeast, sugar and water until dissolved.
Combine with remaining ingredients, except flour.
Gradually add flour.
Knead lightly.
Place in a covered bowl and let rise 2 hours.
Punch down and let rise again until double in size.
Roll out and cut to desired size.
Let rise in buttered pans 1/2 hour.
Bake at 375Β° for 10 or 15 minutes.
Yields approximately 50 party size rolls. Freezes well.
