Party Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 cup shortening, 1 cup packed brown sugar, 1/2 cup sugar, 2 tsp. vanilla and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

In a large bowl mix shortening, brown sugar and sugar.
Beat in vanilla and eggs.
In another bowl sift flour baking soda and salt. Add dry ingredients to the sugar and egg mixture.
Blend well. Stir in 1/2 cup M&M's; save the rest for decorating.
Drop by rounded tsp. two inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Decorate tops with remaining M&M's.
Bake on center rack at 375 degrees for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
