Paper Sack Apple Pie
Paper Sack Apple Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 double pie crust, fresh apples, 1/2 c. sugar, 2 tbsp. flour and cinnamon and nutmeg to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Peel and cut apples in chunks.
Combine 1/2 cup sugar and 2 tablespoons flour, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Sprinkle over apples and coat well.
Pour in pie shell and sprinkle with lemon juice. Combine 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup flour, cinnamon and nutmeg with 1 stick butter.
Crumble on top of apples.
Place in large paper bag, roll ends and fasten with paper clips.
Bake for 1 hour on cookie sheet.
This browns beautifully.
