Panic Spinach
Panic Spinach is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen, chopped spinach, 1/4 c. dry onion soup mix, 1 c. dairy sour cream, 1/2 c. pepperidge farm stuffing mix and 1 tbsp. margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Put packages of spinach in an 8 x 8 x 2-inch glass pan so that they lean on the edge of the pan.
As spinach cooks, liquid will drain out the bottom.
Microwave on High for 9 to 10 minutes; drain and discard liquid and box.
Place spinach in dish and add dry soup mixed with sour cream.
Level.
Sprinkle stuffing over top.
Dot with margarine and top with cheese.
Microwave at 70% for 8 minutes or until heated through.
Serves about 6.
