Pan Rolls
Pan Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. active dry yeast, 2 c. warm water (110~ to 115~), 1/2 c. nonfat dry milk, 3 tbsp. sugar and 1 tbsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Sprinkle yeast over warm water in large bowl.
Add dry milk, sugar, salt, melted shortening and 3 cups flour.
Blend at low speed until moistened, then beat for 3 minutes at medium speed. Using a spoon, stir in enough remaining flour to make soft dough. Turn dough on lightly floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic.
Divide dough into 24 pieces; shape into balls.
Place in 2 greased 8-inch round cake pans.
Cover; let rise until doubled (about 30 minutes).
Preheat oven to 400°.
Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
