Mix sugar, soft shortening, honey, egg and vanilla in bowl. Mix flour, soda and salt in another bowl.
Mix dry ingredients into shortening mixture.
Chill for 1 hour.
Heat oven to 375Β°. Lightly grease baking sheet.
Divide chilled dough into 3 portions.
Put 2 portions in refrigerator until ready to use.
