Padre Island Sand Dollars
Padre Island Sand Dollars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or oleo, 1/2 c. powdered sugar, 3 c. flour, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Beat butter or oleo and powdered sugar until fluffy. Gradually mix in flour.
Stir in vanilla and salt and mix well. Using level tablespoonful of dough, shape into balls.
Press one side of each ball into granulated sugar.
Place sugar sides up on ungreased cookie sheet.
Can be close together, they do not spread.
Bake at 400Β° for 10 minutes.
Do not brown.
Remove from pan, cool on rack.
Makes 3 1/2 dozen.
