Stir the yeast in the warm water and let stand until it dissolves.

Mix the milk, sugar and salt in a bowl.

Add the dissolved yeast and mix well.

Stir in enough flour to make a soft dough.

Turn out onto a lightly floured board and knead until it bounces back when touched with a finger.

Place dough in a buttered bowl and turn to grease completely.

Cover with plastic wrap and put in warm place to rise until doubled in bulk (about one hour). Punch down and cover again with wrap.

Refrigerate covered until ready to bake.

Roll into 2 1/2 inch balls and bake in preheated oven at 400Β° for 15 minutes or until done.

Cool on wire rack.
