Oven Style Caramel Corn
Oven Style Caramel Corn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. brown sugar, 2 sticks oleo, 1/2 c. karo (white), 1 tsp. salt and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Place first 4 ingredients in a 2-quart saucepan.
Bring to a boil; boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Do not overboil.
Add vanilla and soda, stirring after each addition.
Pour over salted popped corn, covering all kernels.
Place on 2 cookie sheets. Bake in a 250Β° oven for 1 hour, stirring 3 to 4 times.
(May be stored in any tight can or plastic bag.)
Cool on wax paper.
I put peanuts and pecans in mine.
