Oven Barbecued Chicken
Oven Barbecued Chicken is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 (3 lb.) fryer, 2 tbsp. catsup, 2 tbsp. vinegar, 1 tbsp. lemon juice and 2 tbsp. worcestershire sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Cut up chicken as for frying.
Mix all ingredients for sauce together; bring to boil.
Dip pieces of chicken in hot sauce and place in casserole which has tight fitting cover.
Pour remaining sauce over chicken.
Place covered casserole in a 350Β° oven.
Bake for 1 1/2 hours, spooning sauce over the chicken occasionally.
