Ortega Fiesta Bake
Ortega Fiesta Bake is an easy dinner. Made with 1 large can ortega peppers (whole or strips), 2 lb. grated cheddar cheese, 8 eggs, slightly beaten and 1/2 c. sour cream, mixed with 1/2 c. lukewarm water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Grease 8 1/2 x 13 1/2 x 1 1/2-inch casserole.
Line casserole with peppers, opened flat.
Add grated cheese.
Beat eggs and sour cream mixture and pour over cheese.
Top with layer of peppers (opened flat).
Bake at 350Β° for approximately 1 hour or until knife inserted comes out.
Remove from oven and let cool a few minutes to set.
