Made with 2 c. frozen basic ground beef mixture, 1 (16 oz.) can (2 c.) chop suey vegetables, drained, 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, 2 tbsp. cornstarch and 1 tsp. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

In large saucepan or skillet, combine frozen beef mixture, chop suey vegetables, frozen peas, and 1 c. water.
Simmer, covered, for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Blend together cornstarch, sugar, and ginger; gradually stir in 2 Tbsp. water and the soy sauce.
Add to the beef mixture; cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
Serve over chow mein noodles.
