Oriental Rice
Oriental Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms, 1 tbsp. butter or margarine, 1 1/2 c. water, 1 chicken bouillon cube, crushed and 1 1/2 c. fresh vegetables, onions, celery, red peppers, green pepper strips, bean sprouts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Saute mushrooms in butter in medium saucepan.
Add water and bouillon.
Bring to a boil.
Add vegetables and soy sauce.
Stir in rice.
Cover and remove from heat.
Let stand 5 minutes, or until all water is absorbed.
Makes 4 servings.
