Orange Tea Biscuits
Orange Tea Biscuits is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 4 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. salt, 3 tbsp. shortening and 3/4 or 1 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
Mix in shortening with fingertips.
Add milk to make a soft dough.
Roll out in a 1/4-inch sheet and spread with an orange filling.
Roll like a jelly roll and cut off in 12-inch slices.
Sprinkle with sugar and grated orange rind over the top.
Bake in moderate oven at 350Β° until lightly browned.
Makes 18 small biscuits.
