Orange Summer Salad
Orange Summer Salad is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained and unsweetened, 1 (6 oz.) pkg. orange jello (can use sugar-free), 2 c. low-fat buttermilk and 1 (8 oz.) container cool whip lite, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
In a saucepan, combine pineapple.
Bring to a good boil, stirring occasionally.
Remove from fire and add jello.
Mix well and let cool slightly.
Then stir in jello.
Then stir or fold in Cool Whip Lite.
Then pour in mold.
Other flavors can be used. Chill at least 4 hours or overnight.
Makes 8 (1/2 cup) servings.
