Orange Slice Cake
Orange Slice Cake is an impressive dinner. Made with 3 1/2 c. flour, 1 lb. orange slice candy pieces, 2 c. nuts (pecans), 2 c. sugar and 1 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Combine flour and salt; set aside.
Mix candy, dates, nuts and coconut.
Put 1/2 cup flour over this mixture.
Mix butter, sugar and eggs, one at a time.
Add soda and buttermilk.
Add flour and fruit mixture.
Mix well.
Bake in tube pan at 300Β° for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Mix orange juice and confectioners sugar.
Pour over hot cake.
Let sit overnight.
