Orange Sherbet Mold
Orange Sherbet Mold is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. orange gelatin (3 oz. each), 1 1/2 c. boiling water, 1 (11 oz.) can drained mandarin oranges, 2 c. (1 pt.) orange sherbet and 1 tbsp. lemon juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Dissolve gelatin boiling water; cool.
Meanwhile drain oranges, reserving syrup.
To the syrup add lemon juice and Cointreau.
Gelatin mixture.
Stir in orange sherbet just sherbet melts.
Add oranges.
Pour into oiled mold. Chill several hours before serving.
Can be used as a salad or a light dessert.
Use a 6 cup mold with sprigs of fresh mint or chopped maraschino cherries on top to make a color contrast.
