Mix the 2 boxes jello with boiling water until dissolved.
Mix Dream Whip as directed on package; set aside.
Add sherbet by spoonfuls in hot jello.
Add Dream Whip, drained fruit cocktail and nuts; blend together.
Pour into a long dish or molds.
Use as salad or dessert.
Serves 12 to 16.
