Orange Sherbet
Orange Sherbet is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. sugar, 3/4 c. water, grated rind of 1 orange, 1 1/2 c. orange juice and 1 tbsp. lemon juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cook sugar and water slowly for 10 minutes.
Add grated rind to syrup and continue cooking 4 minutes.
Strain.
Add syrup to fruit juices.
Cool; pour into tray and allow to freeze firm. Remove mixture to ice cold mixing bowl.
Beat with mixer until light.
Add cream and fold in stiffly beaten egg whites to which salt has been added.
Freeze.
