Orange Salad
Orange Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (20 oz.) can unsweetened crushed pineapple (undrained), 3 tbsp. sugar, 1 (6 oz.) pkg. orange flavored gelatin, 2 c. buttermilk and 1 (8 oz.) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

In a saucepan, combine pineapple and sugar and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
When mixture boils, immediately add orange gelatin and stir until dissolved.
Cool slightly.
Stir in buttermilk.
Chill until partially set.
Fold in whipped topping and nuts.
Cool until mixture mounds slightly.
Pour contents into lightly oiled 8 1/2-inch mold.
Chill overnight or at least 8 hours.
