Orange Buttermilk Salad
Orange Buttermilk Salad is an moderately easy salad you can prepare in just 58 minutes. Made with (8 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple in syrup, (6 oz.) pkg. orange jell-o, c. buttermilk, (8 oz.) carton cool whip and c. chopped pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
In a large pan, bring pineapple to a boil; remove from heat. Stir in Jell-O.
Cool to room temperature.
Stir in buttermilk. Fold in Cool Whip and pecans.
Pour into mold or Pyrex oblong dish.
Chill at least 4 hours or overnight.
Yields 6 to 8 servings.
