Made with 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained), 1 (6 oz.) pkg. or 2 (3 oz.) pkg. orange jello, 2 c. buttermilk, 1 (8 oz.) carton frozen whipped topping and 1/2 c. chopped pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Place first 3 ingredients in a saucepan and stir over low heat until melted.
Allow to cool to room temperature.
Add buttermilk and Cool Whip.
Mix well and stir in pecans.
Put in a 9 x 13-inch dish.
