Orange Bread
Orange Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, 1 c. sugar, 1 egg, 2 c. flour and 1 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cream butter or margarine and sugar.
Add eggs and beat until fluffy.
Combine flour, baking powder, soda and salt (1/4 teaspoon) and sift.
Add rind to creamed mixture.
Add dry ingredients alternately with milk (I use only 3/4 of a cup) to cream mixture.
Fold in raisins and nuts.
Bake in a greased loaf pan at 325Β° for one hour.
