Onion Soup
Onion Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, 3 lb. onions, thinly sliced, 1 to 1 1/2 tsp. paprika, 3/4 c. flour and 1/2 c. salad oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Melt butter.
Add onions.
Cook over low heat until onions are soft.
Add paprika.
Make roux by browning the oil and the flour mix, being certain it is evenly browned.
Add the onions, roux, celery salt, salt and pepper to beef stock and stir until it boils.
Let simmer for at least 2 hours.
Add beer.
