Onion Rings
Onion Rings is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/4 c. flour, 1 tsp. paprika, 3/4 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. baking powder and 1 (12 oz.) can beer (at room temperature), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
In medium bowl, combine 1 1/2 cup flour, paprika, salt and baking powder.
With wire wisk, stir in beer until batter is fairly smooth.
Set batter aside.
Cut onions across into 1/3-inch thick slices and separate into rings.
Put remaining flour in plastic bag.
Heat 2 inches of oil to 375Β°.
Drop handful of onion rings into plastic bag and toss until coated.
Dip floured rings into batter and fry handful of rings in hot oil until golden brown.
Drain on paper towels.
