Onion Pie
Onion Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. saltine cracker crumbs, 1/4 c. melted butter, 2 c. thin sliced white onions, 3/4 c. evaporated milk and 2 eggs, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Mix crumbs with 1/4 cup melted butter.
Press into an 8 or 9-inch pie pan dish.
Cook onions in 2 tablespoons margarine until tender (not brown).
Put in pie shell.
Beat together eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Pour mixture over onions.
Put cheese on top. Bake for 30 minutes at 350Β°.
Cut into wedges.
Better served warm.
