Onion Pie
Onion Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with pastry for 9-inch pie, 8 slices bacon, cooked until crisp, 2 c. thinly sliced onions, 3 eggs, slightly beaten and 1 (8 oz.) sour cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Prick bottom and sides of pastry shell with a fork.
Bake at 400° for 3 minutes.
Remove from oven and gently prick again with a fork.
Bake 5 minutes more and let cool.
Crumble bacon and set aside.
Saute onions in 3 tablespoons bacon drippings until tender.
Combine bacon, onions and next 4 ingredients in bowl; stir well.
Spoon mixture into pastry shell and sprinkle with caraway seed.
Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes or until set. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
