Onion Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 stick margarine, 1 1/2 c. saltine crackers (approximately 32), 2 1/2 c. onions, sliced thin and cooked, 1 1/2 c. milk, scalded and 2 eggs, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Melt 1 stick margarine in pie pan.

Add cracker crumbs; mix together.

Put in pie pan or casserole to form a base.

Put cooked onions on top of the crumbs (cracker).

Mix up the scalded milk, grated cheese, eggs, salt and pepper.

Pour this over the onions and cracker crumbs.

Bake at 325Β° for 40 minutes.

Good with barbecue chicken or steaks.
