Onion Dill Bread
Onion Dill Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 tbsp. dehydrated minced onion, 1/2 c. water, 2 c. small curd cottage cheese, 3 tbsp. margarine and 3 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Heat onion, water, cottage cheese and margarine.
In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups flour, yeast, salt, sugar, baking soda, eggs and warm mixture.
Mix well.
Gradually add remaining flour, oats and dill weed.
Knead well.
Cover and let rise until doubled. Punch down and place in two 1 1/2-quart casseroles.
Brush tops with margarine.
Let rise again.
Bake in preheated oven at 350Β° for 35 minutes.
Remove from dishes and cool on rack.
