Grease and flour fluted or tube pan.
Combine the ingredients in a large bowl.
Beat 3 minutes at medium speed.
Pour into pan. Bake at 325Β° for 60 to 70 minutes or until cake springs back when touched.
Cool upright in pan 15 minutes.
Remove and eat!
May glaze with lemon icing.
Delicious served with fruit flavored sherbet.
