One Egg Cake
One Egg Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter (room temperature), 1 egg, 1 c. milk, 1 c. sugar and 2 c. self-rising flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add egg, beating thoroughly.
Add flour and milk alternately, beginning and ending with flour.
Add vanilla.
Bake in 2 or 3 layer pans at 375Β° for 15 to 25 minutes, depending on number of layers.
