Old-Fashioned Stack Cake
Old-Fashioned Stack Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 eggs (unbeaten), 3/4 c. shortening, 1 c. brown sugar (1 c. molasses may be used instead), 3/4 c. white sugar and 1 1/4 c. buttermilk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Crumble shortening in flour.
Add other dry ingredients.
Mix well.
Add eggs and mix again.
Add milk and blend well.
