Old-Fashioned Sour Cream Drops
Old-Fashioned Sour Cream Drops is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. soft shortening, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 1 c. sour cream and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cream shortening and sugar.
Beat in eggs.
Stir in sour cream and vanilla. Sift together and stir in flour, soda, baking powder and salt.
Chill dough at least 1 hour.
Drop rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart on lightly greased baking sheet and bake until delicately browned, just until, when touched with finger, almost no imprint remains.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 425Β°. Makes about 5 dozen 2 1/2-inch cookies.
