Old Fashioned Rice Pudding
Old Fashioned Rice Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 gal. whole milk, 1 c. long grain rice, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. water and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Use heavy kettle or mixture will scorch.
Mix together milk, rice and sugar.
Add nutmeg prior to cooking.
Heat to boiling and cook very slowly for 45 minutes, stirring frequently.
Beat water and eggs until frothy.
Add vanilla.
Stir into hot rice mixture until well blended.
Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan. When cool, sprinkle with cinnamon.
