Old Fashioned Mince Pie is an easy dinner. Made with pastry for two crust pie, 3 c. mincemeat (28 to 30 oz. jar), 1 1/2 c. chopped apple and whipped cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Heat oven to 425Β°.
Mix mincemeat and apple.
Pour into pastry lined pie pan.
Cover with top crust which has slits in it.
Seal and flute.
Cover edge with 1 1/2-inch strip of aluminum foil to prevent excess browning.
Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until crust is nicely browned.
Serve slightly warm with whipped cream on top.
