Cream the oleo and sugar.
Add the milk, egg and vanilla. Sift the flour, salt and baking powder.

Chill dough 1 hour.

Cut out and sprinkle with plain or colored sugar.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 400Β° for 5 to 8 minutes.
