Blend sifted dry ingredients and shortening.
Stir only to mix and place on well floured board.
Roll out 2 layers.
Place together in round cake pan (greased and floured) with soft butter between layers.

Separate layers and put sweetened strawberries between and on top.
Top with whipped cream.
