Old-Fashion Pecan Pie
Old-Fashion Pecan Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. maple syrup, 1/4 c. margarine, 1/4 c. sugar, 1 1/2 c. broken pecan pieces and 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Add syrup, sugar and margarine in saucepan.
Boil gently for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cool slightly.
Place the broken pecan pieces in the pie shell.
Mix the eggs, vanilla and salt together, then slowly stir in the cooled syrup.
Pour over the pecans.
Bake at 375Β° for 35 to 40 minutes or until a tester comes out clean.
Cool on rack.
