Okoshi(Puffed Rice) is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. margarine or butter, 1/3 c. karo syrup, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 c. peanuts and 6 c. puffed rice cereal, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Put margarine, Karo syrup, peanuts and sugar in a large pot. Cook on medium-high heat until mixture just begins to caramelize and turns light brown in color (approximately 10 to 13 minutes). Add Puffed Rice cereal and toss to coat evenly.
Spread in roasting pan.
Cut while still warm.
