Oatmeal Drops
Oatmeal Drops is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. each: nutmeg and salt and 1 c. soft butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Heat oven to 375Β°.
Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
Cream butter and sugar.
Beat in eggs until light and fluffy.
Add flour mixture alternately with milk.
Beat well after each addition.
Stir in oats, raisins and nuts.
Mix well.
Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake 12 to 15 minutes.
Cool on wire rack.
Makes about 5 dozen.
