Oatmeal Cookies(Oatsies)
Oatmeal Cookies(Oatsies) is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. oats, 1/2 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted, 1/4 c. dark corn syrup and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Heat oven to 400Β°.
Grease 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
In medium bowl, mix oats and brown sugar.
Stir together butter, syrup, salt and vanilla.
Mix thoroughly into oat mixture.
Press dough evenly in bottom of pan.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
Cool. Spread chocolate on top.
Spread nuts on chocolate.
Chill 1 hour. Cut into bars.
Yield
32 cookies.
