Oatmeal Cookies
Oatmeal Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. shortening or margarine, 1 1/2 c. brown sugar, 2 eggs, 1/2 c. buttermilk and 1 3/4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

π¨βπ³ Instructions
Cream shortening, sugar and eggs until light and fluffy.
Sift dry ingredients together and stir into creamed mixture.
Stir in oatmeal, nuts and raisins.
Drop by tablespoon about 2-inches apart.
Bake in hot oven (400Β°) about 18 minutes.
If you use sweet milk, cut soda to 1/4 teaspoon and use 2 teaspoons of baking powder.
We always had these cookies at Christmas.
