Oatmeal Cookies
Oatmeal Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. shortening, 1/2 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 egg and 1 tbsp. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cream shortening and add sugars.
Stir in egg, water and vanilla.
Add sifted dry ingredients, oatmeal, chocolate chips and raisins.
Put on cookie sheet.
Bake in oven at 375Β° for 10 to 15 minutes.
Makes 3 dozen.
