Oatmeal Cookies
Oatmeal Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c. margarine, softened, 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar, 1/2 c. granulated sugar, 1 egg and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Heat oven to 375Β°.
Beat margarine and sugars until creamy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
Add combined flour, baking soda, salt and spices.
Mix well.
Stir in oats.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Throw in a cup of crushed pecans. Bake 8 to 9 minutes for a chewy cookie or 10 to 11 minutes for a crisp cookie.
Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet.
Remove to wire rack. Makes about 4 1/2 dozen cookies.
