Oatmeal Cookies
Oatmeal Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. raisins, 1 c. water, 3/4 c. shortening, 1 1/2 c. sugar and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Boil raisins and water.
Add water to measure 1/2 cup.
Cream shortening, sugar, eggs, vanilla.
Stir in raisin liquid.
Add dry ingredients.
Stir in oats, nuts and raisins.
Drop from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
