Oatmeal Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. shortening, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. brown sugar, 2 eggs and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cream the shortening and sugars.
Mix in eggs and vanilla. Stir together flour, baking soda, salt and spices.
Add to creamed mixture. Stir in oats, raisins and nuts.
Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake in a 350Β° oven for 10 to 12 minutes. Yields approximately 4 dozen cookies.
