Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. vegetable shortening, 1 c. brown sugar, 1 c. white sugar, 2 unbeaten eggs and 2 tbsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Cream shortening and sugars.
Add eggs, vanilla and milk. Combine dry ingredients and add to first mixture.
Stir in oats, nuts and chips.
Dough will be thick.
Drop by spoonful on ungreased cookie sheet 1-inch apart.
Bake at 350Β° for 8 minutes. Do not overcook.
Take out while barely set.
Cool on absorbent paper.
